Solving Bluetooth issues in Linux

As with any new release of the software, a few bugs have come to the surface with the release of Ubuntu 18.04.  This particular bug affects Bluetooth connectivity.  Basically, the version of bluez which shipped with Ubuntu 18.04 was noted to be “a bit buggy”, however, an update has been released which should resolve the issue and can be obtained from the following PPA:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bluetooth/bluez sudo apt-get update
